This 159 ft length non-rigid was constructed by the originators of US Lighter Than Air, which in 1988 was bought by a Canadian, Ray Olma (deceased). The prototype had flown briefly prior to the resumption of work in January 1989. Work on FAA airworthiness certification was undertaken during 1989-90 leading to the procurement of a US Type certificate (AS2NM) in June 1990. The first production ship is shown above.
